the best places to donate for the coronavirus

I did not anticipate my inaugural "life" post to be about a pandemic that has been responsible for tens of thousands of deaths. In fact, I wasn't even sure if this was the appropriate place to even post this, as other posts in this series will feature frivolous things like parties and wine nights and other fun.

But, at the end of the day, death cannot be separated from life; and the current crisis around us should motivate us to be thankful and enjoy each day as a gift that is not given to everyone.

For those that would like to donate in honor of that gratitude, the Effective Altruism Fund made a full write up of which charities will best use your contribution -- the link is here.

In the meantime, I send my wishes that you and your loved ones stay healthy and safe in these trying times.
